I thought this was a great game. Even after you beat it, it's still fun to go back and play your favorite levels. The soundtrack is great and the gameplay smooth and controlled. Lara's outfits tend to be a bit skimpy, but you can unlock more clothes (like a suit, completely modest). I would definitely recommend this game.
Personally, I believe that Tomb Raider Legend is the best game of the series yet, although Legend II could certainly surpass it, and that there is nothing offensive or outrageous within the game. The only major issue might be Lara Croft’s, the main protagonist of the Tomb Raider games for those who do not know, sexuality, although that is a non-issue in this particular game unless you unlock extras – many of which are merely additional combat outfits for your heroine can choose from. The enemies are, mostly, human, but there are also some wild animals and demonic forces involved, but there is no real blood or gore within the game or its cutscreens – although you can discover some decomposing remains, mostly bones, within disabled traps. Overall, this is a great adventure game, and I cannot wait until the next one to arrive in stores.
This game is not the best in the Tomb Raider franchise (some of my personally favourite games), but that does not by any means mean it is bad. It is actually a very, very fun game, although it is short. The language is a little iffy, but the action is good with little blood. The voice acting is very good, and one scene even gave me chills.
The swimsuits you can unlock at the end are pretty revealing, but it's nothing you wouldn't see at your local pool ^_^
Fantastic game anyway. I hope the games revert back more to the way they were, and I'm glad to hear another one is coming out shortly.
