I'm a ten year old and I think smackdown vs raw is a pretty good game. my parents don't like it because they think it's saying that the way to solve problems is to fight someone. I think kids 10 and up should know it's not the right way to solve problems. Make sure that your child kowns: the wwe is fake and it's not the way to solve problems. It's pretty violent and in different kinds of matches you can use weapons for example in Hell in a cell you can jump off the cell push your opponent off the and cell break the cell. The most violent maches are Hell in a cell (i've explained about that), the inferno match(the goal is to set your opponent on fire) and exstream rules match (you can use tables, ladders, chairs, mops(without the hair),trash cans, kento sticks, slege hammers and you can set things on fire. Also female wrestilers will wear things like bikinis. In create your character the only thing to worry about is that you can put tatoos(male and female) and bikins(female only). In conclusion smackdown vs raw 2010 is good for kids who understand the things I've listed.
Smackdown vs raw is a long lived wrestling simulator, Very realistic and sometimes too realistic. First off, The blood. You can beat someone over and over again with a sledgehammer until they are knocked out. They bleed all over the place but it looks like paint. A lot of wrestling moves are able to break someones neck. This shouldn't be copied, One reason to not buy this for a child. Maybe for someone mature. The sex in this is pretty moderate. The female wrestlers wear inappropiate outfits but its no worse than what you see on TV before the watershed. Overall its a mature game but isn't violent really.
It may be a little violent but everyday life is violent. i admit sledgehammers and mops might be a little too much but it is ok. And there are some really good role models. One superstar is not a fan favorite but he hates drugs alcohol and cigarettes. His name is CM punk. And the game is somewhat educational. Yooung Superstars can learn alot from these wrestlers. like moves taunts and how to act. The game is also easy to play with the simple but advanced control system. Overal 6 stars.
It's a much better experience than sitting in a crowded arena for three hours getting beer thrown at you. Just about any age level can handle this, as long as they know how to play. The Road to Wrestlemania story however is atrocious.
This game is very fun. It has easy to use controls and will provide lots of entertainment. The solid game play makes the fun moves stay fun over and over again, and the road to restlemania is a very fun new story mode that is challengeing, yet exctitng. But, the violent moves are too innopropriate. They may cause less mature players to act out the moves on others, which would be very dangerous. Plus, the restlers aren't exactly rolemodles. They make a living off violence which is never appropriate. And the female charecters aren't dressed apropriatly. Plus, with the charecter creatation option, kids can make the female cloths even more reveling.
This is a top wrestling simulator and not really violent at all apart from some chairs that produce clearly fake blood. If you understand wrestling, the women wouldn't really be much different. You get no strip teases or anything like on the old 2006 game. A problem is though. Role models. There are good and bad ones.
John cena - Never give up
Chris Jericho - Calling fans hypocrites.
Got this game for christmas last year. this is a great game. I really like the hardcore matches and the blood is not even as bad as blood in gta, so it shouldn't even be close to 15+.
