Big Kid Life Fire Fighter
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's It About?
Kids become firefighters who rescue animals and put out fire monsters. Parents help with the initial setup and can use the app for three different children. Kids choose their avatar and level of difficulty. Kids follow verbal directions to rescue the animals and get back to the fire truck as well as answer questions related to preschool skills.
Is It Any Good?
BIG KID LIFE FIRE FIGHTER is probably the most intense role-play app in this series of apps created for young kids to try out different adult roles, so if your kid is extra sensitive, this app's fires and stranded pets may be a little too much. For kids who are into the action, the app offers a lot of fast challenge and basic learning practice. The educational games that are interspersed with the more arcade-style firefighting game are solid learning practice in basic shapes, numbers, colors, and more. Kids can also send messages to their parents if Mom or Dad sign up for that free option. Overall, an adventurous learning game for wannabe heroes.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Use the app to start a conversation with your kids about fire safety.
Continue the fire safety them by arranging a visit to a local fire station.
Check your kids' progress in the app, and send them encouraging messages.
