What's It About?

In Georific, kids answer trivia questions to pinpoint a location in the world. They earn points by how close they get to the actual location. Pressing the hint button narrows down the location. There are three levels of difficulty, and kids can choose a topic to focus on. In multiplayer mode, it's best out of 10 questions, and the player who gets closest to the location wins the point. It's cool when the app zooms to the correct location, as kids can judge for themselves how far off their answer was.

Georific puts a fun spin on typical trivia games. Zooming around the world with clear graphics from the NASA Earth Observatory makes geography exciting, and the multiplayer option provides an element of friendly competition. If kids play just one category, questions tend to repeat, so this game is best for kids with varied interests.
