What's It About?
The goal of gameplay is to save flies from a greedy black widow spider. Kids must decide which web sections to cut (by tapping), which hubs to burn, and where to put decoys and life preservers. Sound easy? Kids think and tap, think and tap. Thinking time will soon far outweigh tapping time. Kids can work their way through over 200 puzzles (48 are available in a free version of the app).
Is It Any Good?
GREEDY SPIDERS has a cartoonish feel, but later levels become fiendishly tough -- especially when twists like more spiders, decoys, and flame power-ups are added into the mix. The game has that addictive quality that all good puzzle games have, but nevertheless it doesn't quite have the universal appeal of smash hit apps like Angry Birds or Cut the Rope, whose difficulty levels are a little more forgiving.
