Gun Builder
Is It Any Good?
GUN BUILDER offers a relatively expansive array of parts with which you can create a customized firearm. There are technically lots of ways to mix and match the parts and create unique weapons, but unless you're a gun aficionado, many of the parts won't appear all that different from one another. And the firing range mode is repetitive, growing quickly uninteresting. By allowing players to create "cute" guns (with say, pink or leopard skin coloring) and engraving their names on them, it ignores the dangers inherent in gun possession -- potentially sending the message to naive kids that guns are a toy to play with. This is not an app for kids.
