Parents need to know that Hogworld: Gnart's Adventure is a blend between storybook and game app. Gnart, a little Hog-bunny, needs to get through the scary woods to see the dentist in town. He meets several different companions like a bee and a bat to see him along his way. There is voice-over narration and voice acting throughout the story.

Hogworld: Gnart's Adventure combines an e-book narration and voice-acting with gameplay to create a truly interactive experience. Text as well as verbal animated prompts leads kids through the app, where they discover new characters and stories if they explore by tapping animals and icons on the screens. Gameplay, beautiful graphics, and animation make this a treat to the senses.

My son says...
My son (he's 5) thinks this is a good app, but thinks it should be for kids 6 or older, because there are some scary elements (like a talking rock in the woods). Also, his gameplay tip: if somebody says you need to go in the woods for a dentist's appointment and The Creeper is in the woods, refuse to go and cancel your dentist's appointment! Have fun.
