Jellytoons Toddler Skills: Bobo's Birthday Challenge
What's It About?
Kids tap the play button to see a brief, animated intro and then tap on one of six colorful characters, each representing a different game. Some of the games take hardly any time at all to complete, while others will engage kids longer. When kids complete a game they get to "open" a gift box as a small reward for a job well done. Parents can check a star graph in the app to find out how their toddler is doing on the various skills.
Is It Any Good?
In JELLYTOONS TODDLER SKILLS: BOBO'S BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE, the bright, bold colors and jolly characters will charm your toddler or preschooler into playing these six simple games that teach colors, shapes, numbers, and more. No game here is multi-step or so detailed as to lose the attention of even the wiggliest toddlers. The progress chart for parents is simple to read and helps identify where your child may need more off-screen help learning a skill.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
As your toddlers play the games, help them to name what they are seeing (colors, shapes, sizes, and other identifiable characteristics of objects).
Keep an eye on your kid's performance chart. Notice which skills they might need more practice with and find additional activities outside the app to help them improve.
