Is It Any Good?

We hate to quibble about free apps, but LEGO PHOTO sounds a lot more exciting than it actually is. When you turn a pic -- either something from your photo library or a brand new pic you take through the app -- into a "LEGO" image, all you really get is the picture turned into differently shaded, colored blocks. That these LEGO portraits are 2-dimensional mosaics is not the real complaint -- it's that they don't really look like LEGO blocks. Nor do the pixelated pics really look very good. Sometimes you get one for which the effect is pretty cool, but often you get one that's just hard to make out.
