What's It About?
In Monster Mouth DDS, kids play dentist by first choosing a tool (toothbrush, new tooth, pliers, or bomb). Then they begin rubbing the monster patient's teeth by swiping their finger across the screen to remove plaque, pulling the tooth with the pliers, blowing up the tooth, or fixing the tooth with a new one. Monsters' mouth problems increase in difficulty with each level.
Is It Any Good?
MONSTER MOUTH DDS is an undeniably funny, fun app. The monsters are comical, and it's fun for kids to play dentist. This app provides kids a graphically interesting way to conceptualize the yuckiness of real-life plaque and cavities -- and may even encourage your kids to remember to brush their teeth! However, the bombs and pliers with which cavities are removed may make some kids a little nervous about going to the dentist.
