Mooniacs
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's It About?
The goal of MOONIACS is collect JujuBees by launching Mooniac creatures, slingshot-style. Kids check targets, adjust starting position, pull back, aim, and release. Kids earn one to three stars and one-word evaluations (“fine” or “awesome”) as well as time bonuses. If kids fail to get enough JujuBees, they must try again before moving to the next level. Dotted trajectory lines show their previous attempt. Kids can work their way through 100 levels of gameplay.
Is It Any Good?
Mooniacs has a cute, playful visual style that makes it appealing to young and old. With the underlying goal of repairing the Mooniac ship, players have an incentive to keep playing through each level, and with the high-score mechanic, there is potentially endless replayability. It is a very accessible and fun game, and is a worthy casual app for players of any age.
