Developed by well-known classical music label Naxos, MY FIRST CLASSICAL MUSIC APP takes a modern, interesting, and relevant approach to classical music that kids will love. Each page is packed with illustrations, information, fun facts (like how Mozart was apparently afraid of the trumpet when he was a little boy), and more than two dozen music tracks to listen to. Kids will learn about eight classical composers, and more than a dozen of the instruments that are featured in a classical orchestra. The app also demonstrates how classical music is not found only in concert halls, but is actually part of peoples' everyday lives, with examples like movies and TV, weddings, and dances. This approach makes the app so much more engaging than if it were just a stuffy laundry-list of names and dates.
