What parents need to know
Parents need to know that My First Puzzles is the app equivalent of wooden puzzles that will charm and safely entertain toddlers. The app helps children build problem-solving skills and rewards them frequently for correct decisions. A bell chimes every time they correctly place a puzzle piece and they receive a round of applause when they finish an entire puzzle. It's a great way to keep young kids occupied when you're in the car and they'll likely ask to play it when you're inside as well. The app is also available in a special high definition version for the iPad known as My First Puzzles HD.
Is it any good?
Puzzles on the iPhone are a concept that just makes sense - and MY FIRST PUZZLES gets it right. It's an incredibly polished game that's easy for children to pick up and play. As a child selects a piece with his or her finger, the others fade away, removing all distractions as players find the right spot for it. Though there are only 12 puzzles for kids to choose from -- a number we wish was a bit higher -- the replay value of the app is incredibly high. Your kids won't get bored, even long after they've figured out how to solve the puzzles.

I downloaded it. At the bottom of the very FIRST page, there is a quick tap allowed, and wow . . . there you are on the internet with Google! That option should be eliminated. It is my understanding that if you are on the internet in that manner, you are also being tracked. The rest is great, but too much a risk with children until they eliminate the internet access.
