Parents need to know that My Kingdom for the Princess 2 is a fantasy-themed time management game with a simulation aspect to it. The story of this sequel picks up after the wedding of the protagonists at the end of the first game. While on their honeymoon, their hot-air balloon capsizes and they must find their way back home. To do so, they need to borrow transportation from within the various lands they become stranded, and earn those benefits by helping build up and repair the various lands and kingdoms. As the game progresses, there will be more and more to keep track of, but it always remains fun.
MY KINGDOM FOR THE PRINCESS 2 is a fantastic mash-up of world-building sim games (you need to construct bridges, build cottages for new workers to stay in, make fishing huts in order to get food for those workers, etc.) and time-management games (you must try to reach your completed goal before sundown each day, and the order in which you do things is pivotal). The storyline is bizarre, but entertaining (one of the lands the newlyweds end up in is inhabited by flying, talking cats), even if it doesn't totally fit with the gameplay. But the gameplay is what makes this app so great: It's easy to learn, grows gradually in complexity, and continues to reward you after every level with additions to your vast and wonderful castle.
