Parents need to know that My Little Baby is a childcare simulator that lets kids experience what it's like to tend to a virtual infant. Players get to bathe and feed the baby, rock him to sleep, play with him, and eventually teach him to crawl and walk. They will also need to visit different stores in town to buy supplies (like sunblock and baby shampoo) -- all with virtual money. Be aware that the onscreen babies are anatomically correct, though what you'll see under their diapers is very vague-looking. There are several lessons about childcare here, but the controls may be a bit tough for younger kids to handle at certain points.
MY LITTLE BABY has moments that young players will adore, such as giving your virtual infant new toys and buying new clothes for him or her. But it's also got moments that feel more like chores than games -- like mopping floors. It's a bit of a mixed bag in general. If your child is really into baby dolls and loves to play mother, she's likely to enjoy the detailed simulation at the heart of this app. But some kids might find it all a bit too slow moving. Some of the more fun elements come when you get to teach your baby to crawl and walk, but you have to wait a long time to even get to those parts. My Little Baby is a decent app, but would actually be better if you were able to skip some parts.
