Is It Any Good?
In TIC-TAC-MATH (and the iPad-formatted TIC-TAC-MATH UNIVERSAL) the combination of math problems and tic-tac-toe is interesting, but might be a little too much for younger kids to handle. It's nice that there is a two-player option, but it's difficult if both players aren't on the same level mathematically; there's no way to handicap the game for one player. There are three difficulty levels to choose from, but on the highest setting even adults may be challenged, particularly by multiplying or dividing three-digit numbers. It might have been nice to have a finer tuning for that. Overall, it's a good concept and an easy-to-use app, but you might have a challenge getting kids to actually play it.
