Wubbzy's Kickety-Kick Ball Bounce Out

Based on Nick Jr.’s Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! television show for preschoolers, WUUBZY’S KICKETY-KICK BALL BOUNCE OUT is a essentially a kids’ version of Block Breaker. Players simply tilt the iPad left and right to maneuver the titular cat under a bouncing polka dot ball in an effort to keep it in the air and break blocks that slowly descend from the sky. Side objectives include cracking eggs as the fall and getting birds to fly away from their perch atop certain blocks. Kids can tap the musical note in the top right corner to skip through a small collection of upbeat songs, while parents can adjust difficulty through the iPad’s primary settings screen for apps. The game doesn’t teach kids anything, but our young tester had a great time with it, eagerly returning to play several times over the course of a month.
