What Parents Need to Know
About Another Cinderella Story
Parents need to know that tweens will want to see this movie because it stars Disney Channel darling Selena Gomez, star of the TV show Wizards of Waverly Place. Compared to High School Musical, the dance moves are just slightly sexier, and there's a little kissing between teens. Also, girls fawn all over a teen heartthrob to an embarrassing extent, even rubbing up against him suggestively in public. A Zune music player figures prominently in the plot, and the wicked stepmother likes her martinis. The mean behavior directed at the main character is typical of her Cinderella role and played as over the top for laughs.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about how the high school girls act around Joey Parker. If you had a crush that severe, would you do anything for that person's attention? How does Joey handle all the unwanted attention? How do celebs in the news handle it? Do you think they deserve more privacy? Families can also discuss what made kids want to see this movie -- was it the fact that Selena Gomez was in it? How do you think the producers of this movie went about making sure kids knew it was coming out?

Lives in GeorgiaI rate this title on for age 2 and give it
Lives in OhioI rate this title on for age 8 and give it- My highlights are:
A good movie for girls of all ages.
This film is maybe even better than A Cinderella Story, it is really good. There is nothing that would have `scarred` me as a child, even if I had seen it as a toddler, so it is perfectly harmless.
Lives in IllinoisI rate this title on for age 6 and give itMy concerns are:- Inappropriate language
- Excessive consumerism
- Negative role models
Funny and Appropriate
I loved this movie and it was definitely age appropriate. One thing was that a girl said 'freakin'' ,like, five times in a row. I don't really worry about consumerism, but it was a rich family and there was modern, flip laptops, big houses, flat screen tvs, the works. The twins were kind of bad role models and so was the girl who liked Drew Seeley but couldn't steal his heart. It's mainly appropriate as long as kids don't get carried away with materialistic things.
Lives in TexasI rate this title on for age 10 and give itGreat all around movie!
I've seen this two times and Another Cinderella Story is a funny, up beat movie. I would reccomend it for everyone who likes to dance, and loves fairy tales. Everyone I know who has seen this movie said it was great.
