What Parents Need to Know

About Elektra

Parents need to know that this movie features extensive and graphic (for PG-13) comic book-style violence with a lot of martial arts fights. Many characters are killed. There are brief grisly images. Characters use some strong language (s-word, etc.).

    Elektra. A very good movie.

Elektra is well made. The graphics are well done. Although probably not appropriate for kids under 12-13, Elektra has nothing against it.

I haven’t seen this movie in a while, so I cannot make a full review, but from what I remember, it was a very fun movie, with plenty of action. I don't think that the reviewer before me did the movie justice, but they were right in the skimpy clothing description. However, I really enjoyed this movie, and if your teen isn't very immature, they will most likely be fine with watching it.

    Not impressive

Really disappointed with this. Was a big excuse for Jennifer Garner to beat up more guys and in skimpy clothing. The story was dumb and hard to follow.

    OK, but what a letdown...

I went to the theatre looking for much more, but there was nothing but choreeographed violence. Plot was short and..well..inclomplete from Daredevil and still missing something. Great for tweens and up.

    Neato!!

It was cool and the violence isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Jennifer Garner is hot! ( but not bad hot just hot.)

    better than average comicbook adaptation

It was predictable but fun. Decent writing and acting. Beautiful photography. And, as for costumes, you'll find more provocative clothing on any streetcorner in summertime. I think the producers asked for pg-13 to make it sound naughtier than it is.
