    bad language!!!!1

lots of swearing (yes even out of the mouths of children) adults say the words (you can kiss my ass, i'm sexy, i'm not a sex freak anymore, shut up, and hell) kids say ( shut the hell up, shut up, and stupid head, and ass) The badest thing is there learning all this from there teacher. and when a kid writes a song and performes it on stage this the biggest line in the whole song "todays assiment kick some ass"! This movie is a very bad influence on kids 10 and under because if they see ten year old and adults saying those words and that the teacher in the movie say it's a good thing to say those words they probably will end up saying them.

On of the funniest films ever!

The hilarious screenplay for "School of Rock" is made even better when the main character Dewey is played by the famous comedian Jack Black. Even though the movie is filled with laughter and fun, unfortunately, there's some instances of language and a scene where someone gets drunk.

    funny movie, but not amazing

I liked the movie. It was kinda funny, and worth watching, but I didn't love it. The were a bunch of curse words, and and bit of drinking. It could have been PG though.

    Fantastic Jack Black Film

I am a ginormous Jack Black fan and I love this movie so much. I saw it in theaters four times and I now own it on DVD! It is a hilarious movie and it teaches a good moral: Never give up, no matter what your size, shape, or age.

    Hilarious!!!

I loved this movie!!! Jack black is funnier than ever and so are the kids acting with him even though some of them weren't even actors (lead gutarist Zach is soooo cute as an 11 year old I wonder what he looks like now...) The movie is great but be warned don't let kids under 12 see Jack Blacks video diary under the bonus features you see a blurred butt-shot of him. The movie itself isn't bad at all except for a few inappropriate references nothing bad happen on or off screen except for some drinking.

A Great Rock'n'Roll Move to watch!

In the movie "School of Rock", Jack Black really showed that rock is in his heart. In this great comedy, he played the part of Mr. S, a substitute teacher in a private school. He teaches his students to rock n roll. The wild rocker, Dewey Finn was thrown out from his own band like garbage and he started thinking how he would pay back a great amount of money to his friend, his room mate. When he tried to sell his guitar, the director of a private school called and asked for Mr. Schneebly, who was Dewey's friend. Trying to get money, Dewey played Mr. Schneebly, the substitute teacher. Later, he gets surprised to his class, as he finds out that the students have great talent to music. Then, he starts to teach every type of rock instead of teaching math or history. The rock band that was created out of Dewey (or Mr.S) and his students was called "School of Rock", and made other bands challenged with a great performance. Great acting of Jack Black was seen in this movie. With his excellent role, or a rocker, he bacame an idol for other kids. Later he played great solos on the guitar and I was surprised how he sang. Jack was performing greatly and wild on stage with his band. He was dressed in a school uniform and that remined me Angus Young from AC/DC. The movie was very interesting. It has talented kids and a great teacher. They all were great actors. The set was in the school, I mean it was a real school. "School of Rock", was the best music comedy I've ever seen. After watching it, I loved this movie, and the music they had. It was great. I really recommend it.

    I love this movie!

This movie is sooooo funny and it is great! it is border line between PG and PG13. there is some language and one character gets drunk. Most of it is good but some kids mite not understand some of the jokes or some of the plot. But this was my first PG13 movie and it was great for that!
