Good for tweens and older
The movie protrays the consequenses of lying in an interesting way. The movie is full of slap-stick comedy that is fun for the whole family. We have seen this movie several times and still laugh at it.

Ok.
This movie was clean and a bit funny but overall superficial and stupid. Amanda and Frankie were very bad with the acting. Also this movie seemed to be mean spirited.

Big Fat Liar a Big Fat good movie!
This movie has a good message. It's that the truth is not overrated. There is a lot of product placement though, mostly because a lot of the movie takes place in Universal Studios.

Entertaining at least....not much else there.
The only good word to describe it is "entertaining". Other than at, everything is bad. It is mean-spirited and gives the impression that it is okay to run away and play tricks on your granny and then ruin the life of someone else. All that is okay as long as you say sorry and tell the truth. SAY WHAT?!?!? It just doesn;t send the right message.
