I watched this movie with my tween daughter, and enjoyed it. I thought the acting was well-done and the plot was a little cliche, but funny. Overall it was a fun movie, great to watch with younger teens. It wasn't innapropriate, minimal swearing, and though there was some talk of sex, my daughter is mature and she could handle it. I talked to her about it after and she took it well.
Okay, so 17+ yeah right, what are these people talking about here? I thought a movie with Vince Vaughn was bound to have either a lot of sexual content or crude sexual jokes, there was barely any content shown, and yes there was a scene where jennifer aniston was naked but nothing was shown, seriously. The language was pretty minor except for the one f word. All in all it is a good movie to see with your boyfriend and its a modern day movie on relationships, all in all three stars and i think personaly anyone 12+ can see it.
I saw this with my friend in the theater. Her sister told us it was a terrible movie, but we wanted to see it for ourselvs. I'm a HUGE Jennifer Aniston fan, espicially since Friends has been a favorite show of mine since I was 10. But this movie was terrible! I thought it was fine for someone of my age. Except the scene when Vince's character invited over hookers. It wasn't all that funny, and the ending was dissapointing. The ONLY funny part was when Jennifer's character's brother sang at dinner. Other wise I give it 0 stars.
I saw this today and thought it was really funny. Vince Vaughn did a great job acting like a slob. And i love Jennifer Aniston so I think this movie should have gotten more than 2 stars.
Definitely a funny movie! Vince makes the movie with his humor. However, ther is way too much sexual content etc and this movie should be rated "R". NO ONE under 17 allowed! :)
I enjoyed this flim a lot since i love the actors in it ans since they had a real think going on. This flim is not meant to harm anyone or affend anyone it is just a flim about two peopl in love trying to sort out there differences and that is the whole sence of the fllim if people cant get that over then why see it in the fist place. I is a great movie to see when down in the humps and having a glass of red wine and some of your favorite chocolates. so enjoy the movie, go out to see it with your friends or stay at home with your sofa and wine.
Watching a dysfunctional couple with a warped sense of what encompasses a true relationship is bad enough, but watching them be rude, crude and downright disgusting and then calling it comedy is just ridiculous. There was too much language, too much selfishness and, frankly, nothing funny about it.
The break up was a funny, sad and true movie about today's relationships. The movie had a strong cast and a very strong message. Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anishton had a certain chemistry that made this movie work. This movie is a good movie to see with your girlfriend/boyfriend. 4/5 stars
