I usually try to make movies not seem that bad because they really arent but this was so innapropriate! Now I will admit that therewere some funny parts but most of it was just disgusting and retarded. I like Sacha cohnan But he kind of took this to far. Espicially when He has played in kid movies and shows. Sweety you cant do both. I mean how would you feel if you knew that the same guy that plays king julien in penguins of madagascar, a show your children might watch, also put his private on tv and performed inpropriate sexual stuff on tv. Doesn't feel so great does it. Sorry but i just had to post that.

I'm extremely disturbed that this movie was not rated NC-17
I saw this movie last night, and I am still upset that it was rated R. It makes me sick to think that any child would see this movie. Just absolutely sick.

NOT for Teens,Tweens or even me at 45
I do not understand who is rating this movie, it has no business being R. NC-17 would be more appropriate. Rude, pornographic, and lacking any redeeming qualities. More- "I can't believe he just did that" than "isn't that clever or funny".

DISGUSTING!
DISGUSTING! The filth in this movie is so offensive that I can't recommend anyone or any age see this movie. It makes me sick that so many teens are going to see this.

This movie is hilarious and provocative - for adults only! The humor is outrageous, and some scenarios quite scandalous. Extreme overt sexuality is used to provoke responses onscreen, and many of the responses are themselves disturbing in their ignorance. A social perspective could be discussed with older teens, but otherwise the raw humor and outlandishness is definitely not family fare. See my review at *youtube*/gabndad

BOYCOT BRUNO
Bruno was a filthy, painful waste of time. I cannot believe I was stupid enough to not read a review about it first. It was 60 minutes of vile filth, abhorrently offensive, brainless: a waste of $17. If CHILD ABUSE offends you, if graphic HOMOSEXUAL PORNOGRAPHY offends you (just a straight porn would offend someone - no Im not homophobic) and If watching real COUPLES Have SEX and S&M scenes offends you(although some may be turned on by this), and RELIGIOUS VILIFICATION and RACISM offends you, then PLEASE DO NOT SEE THIS SHOCKING MOVIE. Little Britain was funny, Summer Heights High was funny, We Can Be Heroes is funny.... This is NOT. For me who has a high tolerance to "unique" movies, I found this INHUMANE and PUTRID. It was an ASSAULT to my senses, my ears and my eyes. To see a "Black Baby" by the name of "OJ", being crucified on a cross, and a penis that fills the screen. Shame on the musos at the end who supported the Cruelty, Ignorance and Hate in this movie. It is very sad that it relies on extreme antics BOYCOTT BRUNO.

A very hard R--should have been NC-17
Under no circumstances should anyone under the age of 17 see this movie. I work at a movie theatre and saw some kids in there with their parents. I wish parents would view R rated movies before taking their kids, because I'm sure they wouldn't take them.

This definately should have been and NC-17 rating. Sure wish I'd found this website before I saw this movie!

Perfect for adults with a generous sense of humor ONLY.
For what I saw of this movie, I can say that I didn't stop laughing but unfortunately, the projector broke about halfway through the movie. The most shocking moment in the whole evening was a family that brought their son and daughter to the movie, both of which couldn't have been over 12. When my wife and I saw them walk down the aisle and sit in the front row, we both looked at each other in surprise. This is such a gross oversight for any parent to make that have children under the recommended age. There is no excuse these days to think that a movie is safe based on the trailer you see on TV. There are countless sites like this one, print reviews, online reviews, redband trailers on youtube. Please, PLEASE take personal responsibility for your kids. PLEASE pay attention to what they're doing.

NO Kids....Most adults will be offended.
I am no prude, and I really do like SBC, but I couldn't stand this movie. As a 40 year old, I found myself looking away from the screen. Way too much gross-out humor for my taste that didn't add anything to the movie. This wasn't shocking...it was just over-the-top disgusting. I was sitting there with friends and was embarrassed to be in the theatre. Absolutely not for kids!

Funny but NOT FOR KIDS!!!
I saw Bruno last night. I was highly surprised when I saw how many kids under 17 were in the movie. I'm not talking like 15 or 16 I'm talking about 5,6,7 and 8 year olds. I enjoyed the film but it HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE for kids and I'm not even a mother and I was offended by the families in front of me. There were at least a few families that got up and walked out but there were two mothers in particular that would cover their children's eyes whenever there was nudity or adult content... And let's face it. That's about every five minutes. The film's humor is highly satirical and a child of that age wouldn't get it anyway. Most of the people in the film that were special guests (ex Ron Paul) they didn't even know who they were and were asking their parents, "Who is that?" The movie is rated R for a reason and should really be NC17. I don't believe parents should be taking kids to R rated movies anyway even with parent or adult supervision but this one is definitely a NO NO.

Why not NC17?
Cohen's satire is genius, but he definitely takes things way too far. How can you not love catching really stupid people at their worst? Especially people who have run for president and questionable baseball heroes--some of this was in the deleted scenes. I love his movies because of the outrageous humor, but really would like to see them without the sheer, raw, unnecessarily blatant sex scenes which are truly tasteless.

High concept "mockumentary" just doesn't work
I'll say something first, I LOVE Da Ali G Show and thought Borat was quite faithful to the show, so my dislike of this movie is not because of prudishness. The problem is that the film goes so out of it's way to shock the audience that you often don't know whether you're laughing because of uneasiness or because it's genuinely funny, a bad sign. The film has a few noticeably brilliant scenes(a segment in the Middle East for example), but if you look beneath the vulgarity, the majority of the film isn't that funny, it's just rather disgusting, crossing the boundary between raunchy and just plain gratuitous. I will say this again, I AM NOT A PRUDE. I wasn't disgusted by a penis flopping around for 30 seconds until it becomes erect and screams "Bruno" because it involved a talking penis, I was disgusted because it didn't serve any purpose other than to make people gasp. This film is supposed to be about exposing prejudices, but when Bruno is a walking stereotype who goes out of his way to flaunt his homosexuality, it justifies the bigotry of the "participants". This was why Bruno was the weakest character on Da Ali G Show, but that show had 2 brilliant characters to balance him out. If you've seen what the film is Rated R for, then I won't need to explain too much, I'll just say there's plenty of full frontal male nudity and some strong profanity.

THE FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!
Bruno is crude, rude, and offensive. One 30 second depict of a man's full penis swinging. Then when it gets erect, the urethra says "BRUNO!!!" and then the camera goes inside. Also lots of gay sex. In one part at a party it shows people having sex violently but is censored. Then he goes into a room with a woman and we see her bare (and rather large) breasts. Language isn't so bad.

Wow... I Am Appalled. But, Strangely, Entertained! ABSOLUTELY Not For Kids Under 18!
... Oh... my... God! This was the single, inexplicably raunchiest film I have ever laid eyes on. Half the movie I laughed because it was too rediculous and offensive not to laugh. But, readers, this is the grand-daddy of raunchiness. There were actual sex scenes; like, real pornographic sex scenes, if not for the black bars. In fact, if not for the black bars, this would be considered a funny, offensive porno. I mean, I was speechless throughout the film; I couldn't believe my eyes, ears, and, sometimes, my mind for some parts. I honestly thought a nightmarish flashback hit my mind during a portion of the film. PARENTS: *EXTREME WARNING*: This is the single raunchiest and edgiest film possibly in existance. If you saw Borat and thought that was inaproppriate, than you are in for a very crude awakening. Actually, an extremely crude and offensive awakening. Also, if you are easily or even somewhat offended by certain subject matters, than this is not for you. Extreme Irreverance could be the second title for this film, of it were renamed. Please, praents, I beg you, don't allow a teen or child to witness this film. Yes, it is funny and sometimes witty, but it is grossly offensive and completely inaproppriate, even for some adults. Well, thanks for reading - Move Man
