Brought my 2 1/2 yr old to see this in the movie. It was his 1st movie, it was free so I figured if he didnt sit still we would just leave the theater. Well, he sat and watched it from beginning to end. Wouldnt leave until every last name went by in the credits. Got to buy the DVD now.

Enjoyable despite multiple viewings
Our boys loves this and watch it repeatedly. Despite the multiple (and multiple) viewings, it's still very sweet and enjoyable. The songs grew on us too.

We didn't like it.
By the time the man in the yellow hat was in the dinosaurs mouth and all the talk about the idol having magical powers my 3 year old twin were scared and wanted to turn it off so we never even finished the movie.

Great movie for toddlers & their parents
My two year old actually sat through the whole movie at the theater and laugh so much, other adults started laughing with him. He also loves the soundtrack from Jack Johnson.

Very very cute!!
I don't actually like the Curious George book because I am a primatologist and the man with the yellow hat just takes George from Africa. Well, they solved that problem in this movie, and it's very well done! It's a very cute and fun movie and my preschooler loves it and laughs a lot, and there is nothing objectionable in this movie. Just good old-fashioned fun and a cute story.

Great family feel good movie, with few "scary" scenes
We really enjoyed this movie with our 3 year old and 5 year old children. George is adorable and so are the adults in the film. My 3 year old was a little concerned about the very large doorman who get angry about having a monkey in the building and he was a little worried about the thunder and lightening but luckily neither of those scenes last for too long.

This a wonderful family movie. No parent guidence needed. Goerge learned a good lesson. You can use it to teach your kids in a fun way.

Love the Monkey!
My three year old loves the PBS show Curious George so when this showed up on HBO we taped it and he has seen it a thousand times. He giggles and laughs and my 7 year old actually likes it. My husband and I like it to. In the end it is people that matter the most. I think the man learned the most in the movie. GREAT GREAT family movie!

My husband and I both agree that this movie is great. George's behavior can be undesirable for our son to have, but the movie is generally about love. Taking care of others, realizing where one is wrong and changing that. I don't see any issues with this movie. Its adorable too!

Awesome portrayal of HA Rey's work
This was a great film. My children all love it and enjoy watching it still. The simple graphics and story go with the HA Rey style of George. I applaud the producers for not turning George into something he is not.

Cute, but not my favorite.
It's ok, but it's not very good. Some people will like it more than others. I'm one of those people that wasn't very charmed. It's just, boring. Young kids will enjoy it though.

"Perfect for any kid."
I wish I could have seen this in theaters. The animation was superb and the story was pretty good. its no argument that this movie is perfect for all ages, and for anyone who likes monkeys.

The best, but not as Christian as it should be (no offense)
It was a very good movie. It has good messages, but it also has commercialism. There is a lot of talk about Zagawa, an idol, which is against the Ten Commandments, but it was good.

One of the best
I'm 13 and 1/2 now, and I loved this movie. It's perfect for any age. I fail to see how this gets 3 stars instead of 5. I think the American public should take a break from sex and violence and watch this. Don't get me wrong, I love American Pie and Deuce Bigalow as much as the next guy. However, It's sometimes good to watch a kid movie every once and a while. No matter who you are, SEE THIS MOVIE!!!
