This has quite a bit of sexual innuendo in it. The main plot of the movie is to get two bears (a rare and endangered species) to mate so that the forest they live in will not be destroyed. There are also several other bits that I guess you could call sexual come on. One of which, Dr. Dolittle gives a turtle some Viagra and he goes after his mate with gusto (nothing is shown-it's just a lead up to and cut away thing). Also the drunk monkey is a bit much and wasn't really an addition to the film. On the positive side, Dr. Dolittle is unfailingly kind as he helps people and animals. He is also very concerned with his family and involved with the ins and outs of his daughters. Not too bad, but I wouldn't let my girls watch this till they were a little older.
an enjoyable family movie. some very mild language like a*s but a dog barks in the middle of it. the theme of the movie is that they have two get two bears to reproduce. for all ages i dont know why in australia the dvd is rated M(PG-13). i enjoyed watching this movie.
Love..love...love this movie! The potty humor is goofy and gets us laughing together, which is always a plus. I found one much more family appropriate than the first Eddie Murphy version.
Dr. Dolittle (Eddie Murphy) the beloved doctor with the up-Roar-ious critter-communicating talents. This time around Dolittle plays Cupid to a bumbling circus bear to help a group of forest creatures save their habitat. With the aid of his mangy madcap animal friends, Dolittle must teach this overgrown teddy the ways of true romance in time to save his species and his home.I think this movie is a funny movie. This movie is one of the funniest movies out there. So, i recommend you watch it!
