I was astounded and offended at the recurring use of God's name in vain. It happened at LEAST 10 times and was rated G. I was horrified and should have left the theater. In our home, that is worse than any 4 letter word and I was surprised that I could not feel assured that a G rated movie would not include religious exclamations.

- I rate this title off for age 2 and give itMy concerns are:
- Inappropriate language
Use of God's name over and over makes it inappropriate for all kids

Good movie for car enthusiast kids
Better than some overly cheesy kids movies. This one was entertaining and fun.

Cute film, slightly boring
Sexual Content (Not an Issue): Kissing. A mild erection joke will go over the heads of most children. Violence (Not an Issue): A character is seriously injured in a car crash. Language (Not an Issue): A few uses of deity used as expletives. Social Behavior (Pause): The heroine lies to her father and the villain cheats. Not a very diverse cast. Commercialism (Pause): A few advertisements/logos on the cars. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco (Not an Issue): None.

where's the positive message??
after graduating from college, maggie gives up her career to race!! lots of sexual innuendo - maggie and the mechanic do a car wash scene together. they end up in the car entangled together with their arms and legs flailing about.

Good, clean Disney film
Nothing exciting about this Disney film except their ability to keep it clean! (Something they have trouble with.) The only questionable reference at all was a brief clip of a race car with Viagra decals...as if there weren't a dozen other cars they could have shown! The story was nice, the acting was decent, and our kids really enjoyed watching it.

Air Pollution
While returning from a trip, Delta chose to screen this flick on each of the hundreds of tiny screens dotting the cabin in our plane. My 4 year old, who had (fortunately) slept through most of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," woke to find "Herbie" in full throttle. He was transfixed, thank you, Hollywood. But on what? A crass mix. If anyone thinks there was social redeption in the casting of a girl as lead -- wrongo. My boy told me afterward that boys ALWAYS win. When I asked what the movie showed, he said that it was just a story on a movie. This was his second movie. No thank you, movie houses.

Fun for the kids
With two boys who love car races, slapstick humor, and have seen the original "Love Bug" about 237 times, how could this movie miss? They were laughing out loud throughout and thought it was GREAT. As a parent, although it was terribly formulaic, it was nice not to have to worry about sex, violence, etc. As an added plus, it also prompted a "learning moment" as my 6 year old asked how come people hurt each others' feelings. That's a winning combination in my book.

Cute summer movie
My family loved this movie and have scene it twice. My 3 year old has a hard time sitting still but my 5 year old loved it. It is a cute summer movie that even the parents can enjoy.

The only G movie I could find this summer
I took my girls (4, 6 and 10) to see Herbie, mainly because it was the only G movie playing so far this summer that I could find. I was a little worried that my younger ones wouldn't enjoy it, but I was pleasantly surprised that they followed along okay and enjoyed the show. My kids were concerned when Lindsay Lohan's character lied to her Dad, but she later regrets her dishonest choices which was a good lesson. Overall, I thought it was okay for the kids and a good way to beat the heat for a little while. Also, it was nice to take them to something that was not an animated cartoon for a change of pace.

Good for kids ages 5 and up
I took my 3 1/2 year old son to see this movie. It did not keep his interest like I had hoped. There was another group with toddlers and it did not keep their interest either, however, my sister and I both enjoyed the film. I thought it was well done and Lindsey Lohan did a great job.

I laughed!
Herbie, Fully Loaded was a great family movie. My 3 and 5 yr olds loved it, as well as my 9 yr old niece. They laughed hysterically at Herbie's antics. The movie was clean, no violence, language or sex. I felt totally comfortable watching the movie with children and I found the movie amusing. The remake captured the spirit of the original Herbie movies, good, clean fun.

I LOVED it!
This was one of the best movies I've ever seen! My brother didn't want to see it, but he loved it, too! I don't agree with common sense's review, because I think the adults in the theatre enjoyed it as much as us kids.
