Ok for older kids but not tweens
I was surprised that no one mentioned the use of a certain term to express mail excitedness or the brief but very noticible computer video of two dogs mating that was being watched by the younger brother. I would have found that information helpful. Ok for older kids who will find it to be like Napoleon Dynamite but with stunts.

Funniest movie i have seen....
I loved it... Slapstick comedy, was so funny... in some parts my friends and i rewinded it five times to watch one part... haha im lauging out loud even thinking about it!!! A lot more kid friendly then most of The Lonely Island's work...

perfect for all ages
I love this movie SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!! i wish i could buy every copy of it for my own to privately distribute :) I watched it with my kids and we learned many good lessons and values to keep us big and strong, like Broccoli, but a movie.

Pretty good
Funny movie, first time i saw it i thought it was stupid. but it grows on you. There is quite a bit of drinking and like it says about the grocery store. Some language is in it too. If you can get past that it's pretty good. It's got a positive message, be who you are.

Good for teens and parents with a good sense of humor
It for teens mostly. It is about a "bad" stuntman so of course there are some explosions and what not, but there's no blood

I nearly rolled off my seat!
This was one of those movies where the humor was so dumb it was hilarious. There were several parts that made no sense whatsoever but were hilarious at the same time. I laughed so hard a couple times that I had tears running down my face and I nearly rolled off my seat! If you liked Napoleon Dynamite and the old Airplane and Naked Gun movies then you would definitely love this movie.

Silly, dumb but kind of lovable story
Some of the dialogue you will find yourself saying, HUH? But it's just plain silly. I would never let my kids watch Jackass because he is. But the main character here is actually lovable in a weird sort of dorky way. The drinking, although constant, is not portrayed in the "party" atmosphere like a lot of other movies. For the first time when I heard the worst curse in here (f**k), I actually laughed in front of my 12 year old! The way it was delivered was very funny & with good timing. The character was very deserving of the comment he got.

Napolean Dynamite on a moped
If you liked Napolean Dynamite, you'll probably like this. It's just weird that way. To compare it to Jackass is way off base. The "actors" on Jackass are disrespectful rich kids who crave attention. Hot Rod is just a movie about a dork who dreams of being a stunt man. Nothing that will make you turn your head in disgust.

i dont know what people are talking about? i dont know if its cause i love andy samberg so much but the swearing in this film isnt at all bad? the f word is mention once and sh-- it mentioned a couple of times! there is hardly any bad language at all, and as for violence, it isnt what anyone would call ''violence'' theres no gangs or killing, its one man/boy who is a failed stunt man that falls over a few times but its nothing that could influence a child!
overall, this is the most hilarious film ever, and i am going to own up to watching it every single day for the past 8 weeks- in fact im watching it right now
