Almost everyone 7 and older can watch this, but some students do wrong things
I recently saw this movie and liked to repeat some parts over and over because I'm creating a story about my friend. Some role models were not good because one guy went up the down escalator, one kid fat after a cotton candy contest, and another kid having a knee really hurting.

OK for 5.5yr old
Watched this with my 5 year old. He liked it. I talked with him about what he thinks the earth would be like with no parents. First he said fun and then said sad.

I thought that this was a very cute movie. There is silly bodily humor, but kids love that stuff. Jimmy Neutron is a boy genius and he's very fascinated with science and inventing new gadgets and machines. Aliens from outer space have contacted him and they kidnapped all their parents! After the kids find out they celebrate and wreak havoc all day long and then when night time comes along they realize that they miss their parents and want to devise a plan to get them back. I like the message that even though mom makes you eat your vegetables, it's still always nice to have her take care of you when you tummy hurts, and even if dad makes you get your homework done, he'll come to tuck you in and read you a bedtime story before you go to bed.

Jimmy Neutron: Movie Genius
This is one of the first movies I remember. And frankly, I'm overjoyed that I do! This movie is a classic and is very entertaining, and making this into a show was another smart move by Nickelodeon (back in the days it wasn't like Fox Network). It was creative and I guess I'm glad to hear that Disney is remaking the story, and it's called Mars Needs Moms. I found this movie to be very entertaining and I think kids of this generation will too!

Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
Not much to talk about. The yokians aren't positive role models. The kids are positive role models with a positive message. Jimmy Neutron is brainy and tals about science alot.

Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
Not much to talk about. The Yokian King and Ooblar aren't good role models. But the kids have a good message and are good role models. Jimmy Neutron is a brainy kid and he talks about learning as well.

Pretty okay.
Some schoolyard language like "stupid", "idiot", "shut up". And there are lots of comic peril, and yes NO one gets hurt at all. There are NO sexy stuff in this movie somewhat. I'd enjoy watching this since I was a little kid, weh kids of ages 3 to 9 may enjoy it seriously.

Fun kids movie, even for adults
I enjoyed this movie about a boy genius who invents impressive gadgets and takes on a race of egg-yolk aliens (conveniently called Yolkiens). There is some potty humor and peril, but, overall, it's fine (and fun) for kids, and even some adults. Thanks for reading! - Movie Man

A "Phineas & Ferb" prototype
If your kids like the Disney Channel show Phineas & Ferb (also featuring overachieving kids making wacky inventions), they’ll probably enjoy Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. It has continuous action, peppy dialogue…oh, let’s be real: It’s about a smart kid who makes cool inventions, owns a robot dog, and travels to outer space to battle aliens. What kid wouldn’t be intrigued by a combo like that? *** It's rated G, but there’s content that some parents may find objectionable…LANGUAGE: The following are said by different children: “barf,” “dweeb,” “nerd,” “got their butts kicked,” and “kick some alien buttocks.” There are also passing mentions of constipation, puberty, and a bachelor party. HUMOR: The film has its share of scatological humor: Goddard, Jimmy’s robotic dog, poops out nuts and bolts in one scene; an abducted father is sitting on the toilet when the aliens beam him up to their spaceship; one kid declares, “I’m peeing in the shower!” as he is shown from the waist up; the word “POOP” is shown as graffiti on a school statue; and several characters, including Jimmy’s parents, go into belching fits after drinking some of Jimmy’s specially created soda. Dad even says, “At least it’s coming out of the attic and not the basement!” BEHAVIOR: Bad-boy Nick encourages Jimmy to sneak out of his parents’ house after bedtime to go to the carnival. Jimmy does in fact sneak out, disobeying his parents’ orders. SCARINESS: The idea of aliens kidnapping and eating kids’ parents may be a bit much for very young children. Also, one of the aliens declares to the children, “Now, you all must die!” *** Read my full review at: filmfather [dot] blogspot [dot] com.
