JTMD is hilarious. All most any teenage girl will want to see this. Most girls have felt this way about a guy at one point in time but never did anything about it.

I took my 11 year old and 13 year old daughters to see this with some friends. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. Most of the "inappropriate" stuff was already in the movie previews. My daughters thought it was hilarious and it didn't have alot of trashy stuff in it. Definely for kids over 11 or older. My daughters enjoyed it!

My rating: PG-13 for sexual content including references, some language and drug references. Positive Messages & Role Models: 0/5 - If you think that there are any good examples here, I'm sorry, but you are just one sad person. Violence: 2/5 - Unless you count all the times John gets humiliated and the reference to quote-unquote "killing" him, there's not much. Sex: 3.5/5 - Heavy on references and innuendo. Also, two girls kiss. Language: 3/5 - "Sl-t", "sh-t", a coach insults John Tucker using a homosexual slur, "hell", and an incomplete "f--k". Consumerism: 3/5 - Unlike quite a few romcoms, this isn't much of a multi-advertisement, but there's labels out in the open. Drinking/Drugs: 3/5 - Three or four references to ingesting estrogen pills, which are shown.

Loved it. One of the funniest movies i've ever seen! Some parts have a little grown up material but nothing too bad. It has a good message saying that you can choose to be invisible or get yourself out there!

I think it is a great movie but if you have to explain to your kids that they can't do the think=gs in the movie then you should both be accepted into a mental institute
