More violent but way more interesting than the first. But, if you want to see this movie you msut see the first to connect it all and why not? Just go rent them both.
Definitely not as bad as the first, I don't know why common sense media gave it a no children rating. The only really bad part is the squashed eyeball part which spurts out matter and veins and capillaries and gooey stuff. Gross, but not that bad if you are mature enough. Also there is a scene where two characters do lines of cocaine and get high.
This film needs to be taken with a grain of salt.As an adult reviewer and cinofile, I think it was a great movie for adults, probably not for kids. Quentin Tarantino, created an original and fun adventure with an absolutely awesome woman hero, who will do anything to re-unite with her daughter.A very animal instinct struck me. I don't think this film is meant to be taken too seriously, I think Quentin sees it as a sort of comedy. This film will be most favored by those who appreciate film as art, and have an evolved sense of viewing.
THIS MOVIE IS TOTALLY OVERATED!!!!!
I mean GOODDDDD, tarantino is a genoius, this movie is pretty D**n bad for him. i mean look at some of his movies like reservoir dogs(MASTERPEICE),
pulp ficttion(MASTERPEICE), jackie brown(MASTERPEICE), and this movie, is mediocre at best! its drown in violence and gore, and has none of tarantinos snappy dialogue watsoever!it basically sucks!
The Bride (Uma Thurman) is back and ready for 'The final cut!'. Quentin Tarantino's tale of just revenge comes to an end in the magnificent second volume, which is deeper and better than the original. Also, get the tissues ready: the last 10 minutes are suprisingly sentimental!
Kill Bill 1 & 2 are the only violent movies i enjoy. For Some reason, this movie just seems GREAT. Not the message, but the creativity of the plot. I recommend seeing this movie
Kill Bill Vol. 2 is an amazing film! I disagree with Common Sense Media, I didn't think it was nearly as violent or over-the-top as the first. There were bits of horrifying violence, but not nearly as much as Vol. 1. This is a wildly entertaining, stylish, and cool film. I loved it!
After the magnificent first "Kill Bill" movie, i have xpected the second volume to fail. But it turned out to be just as great as volume 1, making a worthy completion to the first one.
While the first movie focuses on the present, volume two has its eyes set on the past.
It is much more talky than the first one, but is still not boring.
The striking use of music is just as great as in Volume 1, and the characters can give an even better performance.
The great optical look is still present and the epic storyline gives goosebumps. Overall, both volumes can be seen as one magnificent piece of art, one amazing movie.
Like in the first one, there is strong language.
Unlike the first one, the violence is not THAT gory.
(SPOILERS may follow):
There is one scene where a person gets her eye ripped out.
A person then obsessionally steps on it.
A person gets shot (bloody) and then burried alive (intense).
Other violence in this movie is PG-13 level.
But the movie's tone is intense and the bride is not a good role model. Revenge is nearly everything she is interested in.
I think this movie, like the first one, is suitable for people 15 and over.
