I think it's a cute movie, but I'm bummed about the language. We're pretty strict about not using "stupid" "crap" "shut up" "hell" or name calling like "jerk" or idiot" and unfortunately, these are often referred to as "mild" insults which is OK for older kids (at least Kindergarten or 1st grade) but completely inappropriate for kids under 4 in my opinion. I don't think this language ever adds anything to the film, so why bother putting it in? I was really disappointed about the scene with "sugar, honey, ice tea"- although many little ones will miss it altogether, why bother putting it in- it doesn't add anything but shock value for the parents :(

A pretty good movie. A good family movie. Everybody will be laughing during this movie! :)

Ah, the perfect movie. Granted, it's rated PG for a reason. The good thing is that the PG content won't be caught by youger kids, and will make older people laugh as well. I won't be surprised if this becomes the next "Shrek"- it's already better than the first.

This film was very funny. Although, I thought the plot was okay, but the humor made it better. I give it 3.5 stars

Some people are like, "MADAGASCAR ROCKS!" It's JUST okay. It's highly overrated, in my opinion, and should not have had a sequel. DreamWorks has done better.

Madagascar rocks!! I love the part where Alex starts getting hungry in the jungle and then starts seeing Marty as a steak and he bites his butt and all the other animals are looking at him like what the heck xD its awesome, the characters are all really hyper, and its good fun song in it, and King Jules is just weird and possibly a little gay xD but really funny!

Good movie but I like the 2nd madagascar a little better.

Really like this movie I have no idea why people say there's bad words in it

My son loves that each character has very unique personalities. There is some innuendo, but he misses it at age 3, doesn't think anything of it. He has a lot of fun with the music and action. He's constantly singing the song "I like to move it!". This is a regular watch in our home.
