This is a fun and enjoyable film, which is definately worth watching. It's a great movie, but coarse language and sexual content make it a bit inappropriate for young teenagers.
very good movie with a bit of everything thrown in lots of music and comedy but also a good coming of age film dealing with a boy sent to stay with a close friend of his mother because he was caught smoking pot or so he thinks. the real agenda lies in a boy meeting his father for the first time in his life. the story of music as a true form of art that needs to be experienced without censorship is expressed though out and the characters are willing to die for that art
Even though this movie is R-rated, it is probably appropriate for 13 years old+. If you love rock'n'roll, you will completely adore this movie, as I do. There is some sexual innuendo present and part-naked bodies (genitalia never shown). After effects of drugs and alcohol are present and for most of the movie, the characters are smoking cigarettes (most people smoked cigarettes then though). The language was also not very good, but again, it is appropriate enough if the teens/adults are mature.
GREAT MOVIE and pretty funny at some parts!
