Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie
What’s the Story?
After Pooh (voiced by Jim Cummings) gobbles all the trick-or-treat candy (and immediately feels remorseful, on top of having one monstrous tummy ache), Lumpy (Kyle Stanger) and best friend Roo (Jimmy Bennett) embark on a brave quest to find the dreaded Gobloon. Whoever traps him gets to make a wish, and the friends plan to wish for more sweets. But since this is Lumpy's first Halloween, he's pretty scared. To comfort him, Roo tells Lumpy the story of how Piglet (John Fiedler) overcame his own fear of Halloween. When the pair locate the Tree of Terror where the Gobloon is said to make his lair, they rig a trap, setting off a chain of events that leaves them separated and scared but still determined to save each other from harm. Throughout, the characters work together in many ways and even compromise for each other.
Is It Any Good?
Winnie the Pooh and the other lovable characters of the Hundred Acre Wood celebrate Halloween in POOH'S HEFFALUMP HALLOWEEN MOVIE, a delightful, sugar-coated spookfest. October 31 is the perfect night to overcome fears, especially for Piglet and now Lumpy, the timid young heffalump (an elephant-like creature) introduced in a Pooh's Heffalump Movie.
The DVD also features fun songs in which the costumed characters dance and sing "Who's Behind That Mask You're Wearing?" and "We Can Weather Whatever Comes Along." Bonus features include games such as "Trick or Re-Treat" and "Pooh's Boo! Bingo."
