My 5yr old seemed to like this movie but I didn't care for it at all. My older nephews seemed to like it, but I think they enjoyed the gross humor, like a giant booger. That grossed me out as did the crocodile scene, and I usually enjoy all the movies I take my son to see. Very disappointing.
This film appeals to kids because it is very youthful in its ideas and execution – which makes for a poor film from this adult’s perspective! No meaningful story, lots of random and shallow ideas. See me review it with my 7yr.-old son on Youtube: "Gab and Max review Shorts"
We saw this movie twice in one weekend. Both of my kids (almost 6 and 11) loved it! The sequence of the story was not as confusing as I was led to believe before seeing it. It addressed several issues my 11 yr old deals with at school (bullying and braces) which was funny. It was a lot better than I expected and for me to sit through it twice says a lot!
This was a very cute movie. There's nothing bad in it, so It's pretty much good for anyone. Little kids might find all the shorts confusing. I would definetley reccomend this to anyone!
I enjoyed it very much, and so did my almost 7 year old son. My daughter just turned 5 and she liked it too, but was a little fidgety in some parts (maybe the multiple short story format was a little much for her?). Very cute, this generation's Goonies. Classic in the making.
My kids didn't like the movie. We were all looking forward to it (since we are all Robert Rodriguez fans (both for his kid's movies...and for his adult movies as well).
Anyhow...my kids didn't like it. The story wasn't that great and the effects, as they put it, were "cheesy". It would have made a good short film.
I took my two kids, 8 and 10 to see this movie. Unfortunately, I felt my 6yr old was too young to see a PG rated movie, so he stayed home with his dad.
The movie was very funny, and the insults the kids used weren't explicit at all, but they were still a bit mean spirited.
My six year loved this movie and laughed out loud many times. Very positive upbeat movie. From an adult stand point I found it overly silly, but hey it IS a kids movie.
