My daughter (4 at the time) watched this and was just fine with it. I personally don't understand the recommendation of age 8+. That said, there certainly is a of cartoon violence which, I suppose, could be a concern for very sensitive children. Our family loves Star Wars, so this film was fun, though definitely the weakest of all the Star Wars movies.

A non-stop, 2 hour, dose of cartoon violence, cheesy dialoge, and stiff, wooden animation that very largely resembles a Saturday-Morning cartoon. It will possibly be enjoyed by children of all ages. Also, there is a HUGE tie-in of toys, merchandise, and what not. Might as well not let your kids near any of that junk. As for the movie itself, unless you're a hard-core Star Wars fan this movie is strictly for kids, and has a very weak plot. Add all that together and the movie could possibly be enjoyed by children of all ages, all around the globe. However, this movie is a fun, popcorn, summer movie It's cheese popcorn, but you may as well see it anyway, with your kids.

I love it!
I love Star Wars. It is so cool! I think that it should be rated G. I like the clones best. I like R2 because he doesn't have any legs, he's a robot that has little things that movi him around and are triangle shaped.
