loved it! awesome movie, don't take anyone under like 9 though. pretty disturbing. i mean, don't like try to censor kids, cause its not a big deal. theres some nasty words, though nothing most of us haven't heard before. good for teens and pre- teens. i saw this movie when i was 11, and i wasn't scarred for life or anything.
This movie is really good, but it gets very confusing at the end. i would say the movie isnt really that bad, though there is plenty of language, f***ing is used once. the movie is a little freaky at times, most murders arent shown onscreen. Great horror movie, sure to be enjoyed by ur teens and preteens.
I like how it turns into a mystery, but then hits you with a surprise ending that leave you haunted. I stayed up all night thinking about that ending. It could've used more scares though.
13+ sorry kids that get on this website to show their parents movies and reviews for movies they wanna see. just wait
I LOVED IT!!! OK, when you're done with this movie you feel dark and scared but it's amazing. At the absolute very beginning the main character is making out with her boyfriend on a towel at a party, gets up after hearing something in the woods right next to her. She walks in and see's dead children in garbage bags.
SPOILER ALERT! She kills her step mother, shows alot of blood.
The Uninvited was a pretty good movie, just that some characters said some bad language and the producers were from The Ring so I had to close my eyes throughout the scary parts because I had nightmares after watching The Ring, so I don't intend to see those parts again, because they were similar to Samara and they way how she was moving, from what my Mom told me. It had a very shocking ending, I think it'll be okay for kids 13 and older, if they're able to handle freaky jumps and twitching heads and they're not sensitive to scary stuff (like Elmo) :).
Violent, sexy, and partying. A good teen horror flick, but concerning.
Kids that don't trust their parents, in movies like this. It's getting more common for real life. Especially for teens. Teens don't want to talk to their parents about drugs, sex, ect. Anna and Alex (played by Emily Browning and Arielle Kebbel) don't trust dad's new girlfriend Rachel (played by Elizabeth Banks) in this movie because they think she's a killer. This does end very violently. There are some frightening moments in this movie that could make you 'jump'. And some sex like Anna and Alex's dad making out with Rachel, and Anna making out with her boyfriend and a lot of talk about condoms, sex, and 'helping him cope' 'three times a night'. As far as drinking goes, Alex gets drunk in a scene or two, and there are teenage parties. Some harsh language too.
If you love the mix of suspense and gore, this is the movie for you.
My mom and I watched this when it came out on DVD, she did think some of the sexual content was a bit racy. She did laugh out loud when the guy said "I love you and I have a condom." We both cowered and screamed and said OMG at parts, I think its great for movie night with friends or for moms and daughters. I watched it at 13 and had to watch supernanny all night but I'm a big scaredy cat and decided that this wasn't so bad after watching Jersey Shore and the final destination 4. which were equally traumatizing! The F word was a big surprise but I think its a good movie!
Loved it. Wasn't that scary, but it was very interesting, and I loved the relationship between the two sisters and i loved loved LOVED the sickening twist at the end
It was the first scary movie I've seen and I liked it. The story wasn't ALL that great since it was confusing and it was pretty gory and scary... though it didn't give me nightmares or anything. I think it had a great twist at the end! Like I said above it was pretty gory and scary and that's because most murders are on screen and there is lots of blood! I liked it well enough but it wasn't the scariest movie I've ever seen!
