It is a very good movie, but your have to be able to take the realistic gore. I was able to handle it, but others may not be. For instance, I tried watching this movie with some friends who were 11, and they didn't want to because of the gore. So if you plan on watching it, just be prepared. Besides this, the movie was good, and of course, the cop ends up catching him Happy ending horrors. :)

Entertainment!
Story kept my interest from beginning to end. I'm a junkie for the crime-solving story.... The villian's crimes were quite gruesome, and that was a bit disturbing, and distracted me a bit. It was heart pounding, and I got into the movie. It was impossible to "solve the crime" or figure it out, due to not enough being revealed too early.

Same old tech idiocy
Same old story. Almost every computer-related part of the plot is completely wrong. This movie is surely a massive insult to the FBI who could located and shut down the "Kill with me" website in short order. Claims like a "spoof card" is untraceable are ludicrous. The idea that the NSA wouldn't help for fear of divulging secret methods is equally ludicrous. As usual, the perp hacks everything at a moment's notice, like an evil genius from a comic book for pre-teens. Have a little more faith in homeland security's modern capabilities, folks!

Wasn't really gory at all.
After reading many reviews, i finally decided to see how bad it was for my self. Surprisingly it wasn't as horrible as i thought i was going to be - dont get me wrong, the concept and killings are ethically horrible. But It wasn't as disturbing as i thought it was going to be, during each of the killings the FBI is watching, so it isnt pure torture just watching the actual killing, cause all of the FBI agents and everyone are working on it - making it seem less intense and disturbing. There wasnt really any gore at all, gore suggests that you see the insides of people and guts - none of that was shown. And the "disturbing" scenes dont fully reflect what they would look like in real life so it isnt really hard to watch. I wasn't really scared at all - I hate horror movies, yet i wasnt scared at all by this fyi. If you watch many movies, game a lot, and aren't too new to crime movies - this movie should be perfectly fine for you.

Creepy and smart = great thriller movie~
This movie is a little heavy on torture violence, so it's not for young kids or even tweens; teens shouldn't really be bothered by it though. It's kind of a mystery and a great thriller; I recommend it to all teens. It also had a great (and as far as I've seen unique) plot and an amazing main character. I absolutely loved this movie and watched it several times. ^_^

Don't walk away from this movie...RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was a disgusting display of human torture. Not only can't I believe that Diane Lane made such a terrible movie...I am amazed at the sick bastards who wrote it. Isn't there enough suffering in this world???? The writer should be ashamed of themselves...the images of this movie will forever haunt me...I should have left...DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AMAZING MOVIE!
i loved this movie. even though some scenes were extremely violent, it would only show a brief shot (about 5-10 seconds each of the victim being tortured and then it would go to a scene where the crime lab is watching and trying to figure out who/why/where/how/etc. if you are a fan of the saw films this should be a tame movie for you. it is less torture than saw III and saw IV, but more intense than the first two. the language in this movie, considering it is about a serial killer is very minimal. only about 3 or 4 f--ks, and about 4 or so s--ts, but thats it. no sexual content. VIOLENCE: first scene. you see the killer setting up a trap. (not very obvious what it is) but in the short, a cat dies. second bad scene. a man is kidnapped by the victim and the name of the site is carved into his chest. the cuts are only about as deep as a papercut, but a drug is injected into him that is monitered how much goes in by the more people that log onto the site. 3rd bad scene: a mans legs and hands are cemented into the ground and hot lights are turned on and bubbles grow on his skin. (burned to death). 3rd bad scene: griffin is put in a thing of water. battery acid leaks into the bucket and he dies. fourth bad scene: a video of the killers father blowing his head off. bad scene number 5: main character is kidnapped and hung upside down. almost put through a garden plow. she finds a gun and kills the murderer.

Perfect IF your child is mentally and emotionally mature.
You really have to be able to take what they're doing seriously and have a stong stomach. I for one have seen this move plenty of times and enjoy it thoroughly every time. If your child isn't able to comprehend who is doing good, and if the torture is considered excessively violent and unnecessary, and that the person involved is obviously deranged, then this movie should definitely be off limits. I consider this movie a view into the lives of the FBI and what they do to keep others and themselves safe. The psychological themes of the movie really helped me think about what people will tolerate and believe, and how they respond to those things. It was scary to think that something like that is remotely possible, but also enlightening.

Good Suspense movie but too gory for me...
Untraceable was a good movie, it kept me on my the edge of my seat some, but mostly it made me turn around in my seat to avoid seeing the morbid and gory people. Yes it is sad what happens and sad to hear the story behind the killer but even for a horror movie it went beyond imagination. The first time i saw this i turned it off after i saw a guy boil from the heat he was put through. But after my friend told me the ending i had to watch the rest. Truly it had a good plot but again, i am sorry to say this too many times it was sick. It really is sad to see what our world calls a "good" horror movie, anyone that wants to see this kind of torture is very sick, i wish it would go back to movies that weren't so gory. The actual sad part of the whole movie was the fact that some sick person created a real website, seriously i went to it and once i saw how many people had logged on to watch a dummy die i had to get off. I hope that nothing that was portrayed in this movie is real and i strongly tell you not to watch it unless you are a mature teen that can handle gore.

Cover your eyes!
This thriller is a griddy toture movie. It contains lots of blood and some salty langauge. You can bet that you will be grossed out after the first 20 minutes of this movie. But it also has a message, in the movie peole are beging killed on a website. The only thing is that the more peolple that stream and watch these events take place the faster the victems die. A quote of the killer is "If people wern't watching you'd be sitting in a tub of water right now (the charcater is sitting in battery acid.) But people just want to see you die." We are sick people.

This is a really good movie! It is suspenceful, and it is a little gross in parts. It ends well, though, and i recomend it to anyone 12 + who is mature enough to handle the violence.
