Valentine's Day is a sweet movie that is fun for older teens and adults. The big concern is the sexual content. A main character works for a sex-line and you hear bits of her phone calls with customers, which is portayed as humor but the dialouge is extremely innapropriate. There is discussion of two teens wanting to have sex, but parents will like the ending to their story. There are only a few married couples in the story, one married couple has the husband being unfaithful. But there is lots of casual sex and discussion. When you get past the sexual content, the movie is very enjoyable. Some of te stories are not very true to life, but there are some that you can take a good lesson from. CSM did forget to mention that there is a gay couple in the film. There is no sex involved with them, but it does show one stroking the others face. It may not bother some parents, but just to warn those who would like to know before they see the movie. This is one movie that should be based on the parent, not this website, because all parents have different preferences of sexual content. But that's what made it PG-13.

I watched this with my parents when I was 13 and it was very uncomfortable at parts to watch. There is a lot of sensual stuff and thats basically the whole movie. It is hilarious at parts and the cast really comes through. I also like the relationship between the old people...

This is definitely not a kids movie. Even if they are mature enough to handle the subject matter, there are some crazy parts with Anne Hathaway (whom I LOVE!) because she works as a phone sex operator. Those convos should be pretty nasty to younger people. Also, I don't think that kids will necessarily have the life experiences to fully appreciate the dialogue between characters. I'd recommend for 17 and up.

I really like this movie!! It also has good messages because Taylor Swift told Taylor Lautner (they are dating in the movie) they should wait until they are married to have sex. But there is also a iffy scene when one of the characters is naked with only a guitar covering him. Also it shows part of a butt when a girl gets out of bed.

An ok movie, but I prefer the original of many-stories-in-a-rom-com British film, "Love Actually". besides, Jessica Alba didn't look like the main character in the movie. She was in the movie for about 6 scenes and that was it. However, there were good advises from our favorite Mexican-American married man, George Lopez. "That's easy. I've married my best friend," he said in the film and he's right. Reed & Julia were seen kissing & have confirmed of their love for each other. Though my mind is still filled with awkward scenes from this movie like Felicia's (Taylor Swift) foolish ways of dancing [ I think it would be better if she sticks to being a singer ONLY.], kelvin & Kara's love at first sight on each other....that was it! I recommend this movie to be watched with parents, KIDS. BTW, don't have sex before you're married cos' it's a sin against love. Love matters people's feelings, not desires. TQ.
