    not that great

A little over the heads of most children. It is basically a WWII film in animation. The information at the end of the film about how animals aided in the war was interesting, but in my opinion a true documentary would've done their memory better service than this piece. Lots of scary stuff for the little ones, so I would save it for the older kids.

appropriate but, boring to my child

I took my daughter to see this and she got bored. She was able to watch the whole movie but, she asked when it was over, barely halfway through the movie! I thought it was pretty appropriate and entertaining to me. At the end of the movie, my daughter said " I don't want to buy that movie." ( I wanted it! =) )

It's a WWII film spoof lost on kids

It's quite alright. But only if you've already seen a dozen black and white WWII films, preferrably stiff English ones. Otherwise, there isn't enough there for the kids. Mine I think were bored (though the always express gratitude for going to a real movie). It's a spoof really, but parody only works if you know what's being goofed on.

    No thanks!

I don't appreciate war propaganda aimed at preschoolers.

    Older kids or adults perhaps

This seems more like an older child type of movie, if not perhaps an adult oriented mild, sort of cartoon. It has some funny parts, but it is not easy for a young child to catch it all as being funny to them.

Not for toddlers - a cute movie for my 7 1/2 year old

I took my 3 1/2 year old daughter and my 7 1/2 year old son to see this movie. I honestly thought my son would be bored but it turned out to be the other way around. My son is all into the armed forces so he was interested in this WWII movie and the facts at the very end about how carrier pigeons really saved lives in wars and received medals for their efforts. My daughter could not sit still and preferred the popcorn to any of the language or story. It being rated G was something she would normally do well with, however if my son had not been there, we would have left. I did however appreciate the moral of the story that the little guy can do just as well or better than other people as long as he believes in himself, even when nobody else around you believes in you. My son got that, and for that I gave it 3 stars, but a PG rating, if there were a PG-7 I would have given it that rating!

NOT WORTH SPENDING $35 TO GO SEE

This movie was NOT (I repeat: NOT) worth seeing in theaters. It was boring, unrealistic, senseless, a snOre. If you are about 6and younger, you MIGHT (probably not) waste your time renting it. My basic point: Don't waste your time and $ seeing this Snoozer.
