great movie it doesnt beat the matrix anyway lots of action killing and shooting worth watching truth is that i say you probley would have to be 15 or 16 to watch it because of the intense killing and one nudity part but great flick.

The Best, Most Mind-Blowing Action Film Since the First Matrix!
I loved this movie! It has brought a new generation of action to the new millenium. First, there was dodging bullets; now, there's curving bullets! i love it! Parents: this film is extremely violent with dozens of head shots and further depictions of gore. Purely awesome; adrenaline-boosting, but EXTREMELY violent and gory.

it was awesome action but not worth the brief nudity and sex that was NOT needed to be shown for the plot to still run smoothly

Not so great
The dialouge was forced the plot hurruied and it required more than just a suspension of disbelif. The movie was a wannabe Fight Club. With slow motion fighting self naration and an air of self importance. Fight club is much better even if it is much darker

Good movie
This is definitely not for kids. It's very violent and graphic. It is a good movie though. If you can get past the blood and gore, it's very entertaining. Lots of languauge too.

Dangerous message to the angry masses
If it wasn't so evil, it would qualify for down right wretched. This movie clearly states that you can either be an American loser automotron or take control with abject violence. After killing yet another human, the hero asks in the last line of the movie "... what the %^@ have you done today?" Let's hope the viewer doesn't think, "you know you're right, my life sucks, so let's go kill some more people standing in my way!"

HORRIBLE!!
I know everyone's impressed with the stunts done in this movie, & they ARE impressive, however, there was just too much violence & bloodshed for my taste. I actually thought this movie was HORRIBLE because it glorified killing people & made it look cool. I WOULD NOT recommend this movie to anyone, as it was quite disturbing. This is partly what's wrong with our society, too much violence/killing/bloodshed/crime, & movies like this don't help matters. THE ONLY reason I gave this 2 stars is for the cool stunts done by Angelina Jolie. I actually walked out part way thru the movie: sorry folks, this one's a BIG disappointment.

Most of my friends left before the ending
I was so sorry that I wasted my money on the movie. I attended with 10 adults and 7 left before the movie was half over. Even some young adult males nearby left before the ending. There was way too much violent, killing, blood and gore. There was little story line - just killings and more killings. I would never encourage any young adult to view this nor any adult, for that matter. Our society is way too violent as it is without movies like this being glorified. The reputation of the leading actors brought us in but next time we will be more discriminating. I go to a movie to be entertained. This movie was not entertaining, it was difficult to watch. Usually I am interested in how a movie ends. It this case I was just so glad when it finally ended. Unless you enjoy seeing blood, gore, killing and constant violence, pass on this film.

Brilliant Action Film...
But not for kids. I know that my own 12 year old desperatly wants to see this, but had to wait for us to see it first. I may consider letting him watch it when it comes out on DVD so that I can "edit" some of what he sees, but there is no way I'd take him to it in a theatre. Still, for adults, it's big, loud, explosive, and, I think, smart--all of the things that make an action film great. Completely worth paying to see!

Waste of Money
The movie was, as I mentioned, a waste of money. I went with a friend to view it and regeted doing so. If the movie did not have the first 15 mins and lacked the cursing it may have been a better show.

In addition to- (look at the previous review)
Also, Weasley shows his middle finger (very briefly, for about 2 seconds) It was not really meant for someone, Weasley was just happy about himself.

I love it!
It was one of the best movies I have ever seen ( and I have seen a lot), but now as I rewatch it I realize that for most people my age, this movie is not appropriate. I am a very mature person, so I am an exception. There is a lot of close-up violence throughout the movie, lots of blood, and two brief but very graphic sex scenes. You see a lot of brands in this movie such as Google, Energy Horse Drink, Cheerios, and others, and that is just in the first 15 minutes of the film. I would like to say there are good role models and positive messages, but the characters do not care about each other whatsoever, betray their "friends", etc. SPOILER: Later in the movie, Fox is even sent to kill Weasley, and by that time the viewers are somewhat convinced that they feel something for each other. But, Weasley DOES realize that he has to destroy The Feternety, and that is the good thing. However, at the end of the movie, Weasley does not really know who he is, which means he has not learned his lesson. I thought the ending part was genious, though! (Because Weasley can't go into the loser life, but he is no longer a killer)

Great movie! But some pretty raunchy material. Constant usage of the F-word throughout. And quite a bit of blood and gore. Some brief yet fairly graphic and rowdy sex scenes. But really it depends on your kid, if you are like me and have seen movies like Sin City, Matrix, Braveheart etc etc. Then it should be fine.

Very good movie.
This movie cotains strong graphic bloody violence throughout, coarse language, and 2 sex scenes (semi graphic). Fortunantly, it has nonstop action, and that would please many

i watched this movie and it was a great film and alot of graphic violence, and a lot of language in it but not much. the chase in the beginning was a little bit violent, but when the guy came out of the building in glass and could be very scary and violent, so you better migt want to let your kids think about the movie.

Wanted
Many shooting with graphic details, some will find the unrealistic gun fight scenes cool but overall a pretty stupid plot: a cloth weaving tell a group of assassins who to kill, Come on, Really?

Action packed must see
This is one of the greatest movies i have ever seen. However the language and gore is a big deciding factor on whether your child(ren) should be able to see it. I know as a fourteen-year-old that it is annoying of how your parents don't let you see every cool movie that comes out. This movie is probably appropriate for ages 14 and up. For those of you saying i am crazy to tell you that someone this young should be allowed to watch this think about this. They go to a middle school most likely. They are around swearing all day. To tell you the truth the middle school is worse in the swearing factor than the movie. I hope this review helps.

Epic Action/Thriller
First off, Wanted was an Amazing movie. Gory, yes. Sex, yes but nothing hardcore. Language, constant, the f word, s***, anything pretty much. I watched this alone once and once with my dad, but I'm pretty mature and can handle the violence, which in case your wondering, is pretty stylized and comic book-y some looks real, like ***spoiler*** when Wesley gets beaten by the fraternity trainer. All in all, an awesome movie. Go rent it sometime. Pretty good little sub plots too and kinda hidden social commentary in there, which gives the movie a nice little intellectual side to dilute the intense gore and violence.

an extremly innapropriate thrill ride
this movie is very good. lots of intense action scenes and lewd and dark humour. this movie is definetly not for kids and neither is the comic boook. an uncountable amount of swears and sequences of extreme violence gives this movie a well deserved r rating.

Wanted is a great action flick that never disappoints
Non-spoiler review: Wanted is a heavy R rated movie that includes everything you want. Mindless action, Morgan Freeman actually drops f bombs, and you see Angelina Jolie's body (even if it isn't that explicit). Wanted is about a guy named Wesley Gibson who has a hard life. His girlfriend is cheating on him with his best friend, he has a mean boss, and has to take pills. Then Angelina Jolie comes in and tells him to join the Fraternity and be apart with the assassins because his father was the best assassin and joined the Fraternity. The action sequences in Wanted are very unique and yet it's still kick butt action. It's very slow motion. Overall Wanted is a good movie that never disappoints. Parent's guide: Sex/Nudity: There are two affairs in the movie, but both are non-explicit and very brief. Brief talk about birth control. Violence/Scariness: Very graphic and bloody violence. Most of the violence is on-screen and is slow motion. Profanity: About 44 f words and its derivatives, scatological terms, anatomical terms, sexual references to genitalia, name-calling, religious exclamations, religious profanities Drugs/Alcohol: I don't remember any. Social Behavior: Very bad. A guy Wesley Gibson is taught to kill all these people who killed his father. Characters constantly cuss, are in affairs, and kill. Commercialism: Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, and James McAvoy are big targets. Age recommendation: 17+ Throughout the movie there are very graphic and brutal killings, constant swearing including f words, s words, a words, p words, and more. There is some sexual content.

What a Movie
This is a fantastic action movie. It's my all time favorite movie with thrills, and kills around every corner. Now to people who are worried if this movie is apropriate, I found myself comparing this to The Departed. That was one of the most descrptive R rated movie I had ever seen and Wanted is honestly nothing compared to that.Blood is really the only main issue in this movie. Curse words are used mainly out of pain or total shock, they are mostly thrown in as if used in daily life. Sex is only shown a few times during a spanking sex seen and Angelina Jolie's butt is shown for all of three seconds. There is also a shor of a condom box and talk of birth control , but for a breif ten second period. The main idea of this movie is Morgan Freedman runs a ferturnity of assasins and Angelina Jolie trains James McAvoy well enough to fight one of the best assasins in the world. The best part of the movie is the end, where there is a crazy turn in the plot line that will have you on the edge of your seat. I'm a real fan of this movie and I think anyone over the age of 14 could see this. Or anyone who saw The Departed would be fine too. Another movie you could compare this to would be Casino or The Godfather, they are both R for about the same reasons. I hope everyone goes to see this, it was AMAZING!!!!
