Funny, classic 90's sketch comedy is great for tween's and up
Wayne's world is one of the very best Saturday Night Live adaptations and is filled with great, but dated, 90's heavy metal music that is sure to register a beat out of many members of the audience. For a PG-13 Rated movie, it actually isn't that bad in terms of mature content, but there is some crude and sexual humor including innuendo that most younger viewers won't understand or get. Also, there is frequent but mild language throughout the movie. Most teens who like Saturday night live skits and 90's heavy metal are sure to enjoy it.
I saw the 2nd movie first and tought it was super funny and i wanted to see the 1st one.I found the first movie at a market place for a really cheap price and bought it.It is a little wrong because the make it real obvious. One man says to Garth and another guy "I love you man." and they think he's joking but he was serious but that's sopossed to be more of funny and crude than to sound inappropriate.the only part i didn't like was the part where Cassandra was on the phone and Wayne was in his underwear(pretty disgusting)though what he did to distract her fromher phone call was pretty funny(imatated Marylyn Monroe)lol. Then they had that little "sex" scene which more looking like a mixture of wrestling and makingout. It might be just a little bit too much for little children.
A hilarious, surprisingly original and surreal comedy, it's just a bunch of random jokes strung together but it's very charming and funny. Not nearly as bad as CSM makes it out to be, don't listen to them on this one!
