I loved this movie. I saw it with my brother, sister, and girlfriend. I don't recommend this movie for little kids. I think it made it even better that I got the movie for free at http://tinyurl.com/namz3y

I love all of the xmen shows. I thought I would hate it, but now watch it over and over and over. Good for any age. Not scary, bloody, or anything. Shows excellent morals. I love it

Not so bad...
Reviews have been iffy but saw it last night with a bunch of 14-16 year olds and they loved it. I thought it was fine expecting a typical violent summer movie. Some gore and cursing but I've seen worse. I actually enjoyed it for what it is.Kids under 12 may be overwhelmed by violence but it is comic book style.

An Engaging but Hollow Action Film...
X-MEN isn't technologically innovative, there aren't any stand-out performances, and there are memorable scenes or dialogue. That said, it is an engaging action thriller, and you will most likely enjoy it, you just might not remember it. Violence is the biggest and only issue in the film. Characters are stabbed and shot, blown up, lacerated with laser rays, and struck by lightening. While there is no gushing blood, almost all of the cuts are bloody, and some action scenes will be frightening. Wolverine, though an admirable hero, can't control his sprouting blades and ends up accidentally stabbing two or three heroes (the scenes are scary, but they all heal). There is one "hell" and one "s**t". Mystique, one of the villains, is a blue woman who is nude (you can't see anything, as blue sequence covers any sensitive parts (think of the blue guy in WATCHMEN)).

Wonderful, I am continually amazed at these Marvel movies! This film is highly enjoyable, to say the least. There is definitely more questionable content than in any of the Spider-Man movies, but that is to be expected. There is a lot of violence, a fair bit of language, and alchohol. I say this is not for your average eleven year old to be watching, although some may be just fine. Personally, I think it's best saved for your twelve year olds. For viewers twelve and older, this movie will certainly not dissapoint.

A good movie for young kids with plenty of action and not much swearing, no sex references, no drugs and drinking and no blood or scary scenes. Good for fans of the comics or those who love superheores.

Iffy for small children
I saw the movie with my 9 year old sister. It was slightly violent with mild flirtly behavior between Jean and Logan. It was a well done movie special effects wise. The H word was mentioned several times. I wish there was more Kitty because she is sooooo awesome.

I Thought It was A tad bit Violent
Title says it all- I thought it was a bit violent. Maybe not this one as much, but the last two X-Men movies are very violent, and sort of desensitizing. There are also a few inappropriate words, uncommon ones.

Loaded with eye-popping action
X-men is about a world filled with prejudice. Characters possess extraordinary and dangerous powers - the results of genetic mutations. Cyclops could release bolts of energy from his eyes. Storm could control the weather at anytime she wants. Rogue absorbs life forces from people she touchs, and can use the forces to protect herself. But they're all followers of Professor Xavier(Patrick Stewart). These outcasst learn to use their powers for good and not for evil. But on one hand Magneto (Ian Mckellan)has this blief that human and mutants can never co-exist,and now he enveils his bad plan for the future.
I think this is a good movie for everybody who likes action and comic characters. This movie taught me to not judge people for what they look like or how they're different, but judge them for what they're like inside.

If you like super hero material, you'll LOVE X-Men
X-Men is a movie that gets awesome fight scenes in and doesn't spare the message.
