This could have been a pretty funny movie but we took it out after a reference to masturbation and using the "F" word... I don't even have children but was very disappointed in these things... On to something better!

Very funny in parts, shame about a couple of things
Had some very funny moments. Not deep, but very watchable and a feel good film. The old lady bit was out of order and certainly not what you'd want your kids to see... Jim Carey makes it.

I didn't even get through the whole movie before I had to turn it off. The lanquage and sexual content are to excessive for the movie to be rated PG-13. My kids wanted to watch the movie but My husband and I watched it first to see if it was appropriate for them. I'm so glad that we did. I would never let my kids watch this movie.

I don't believe that our children should be exposed to grandma's givign oral sex and our adults finding this funny? What?????? how is this PG13

Bad for kids, okay for adults
I can't believe any parent would let their child under 17 watch this. We just watched and there is oral sex in it. I would never subject my child to that. It is great for adults, not for kids.

Dont get me wrong, i love this movie! But it at times really pushes the PG-13 rating. One f-word and an old lady performs oral on Jim Carrey. U dont see it but u know it is happening.

Kids love jim carey. Why does he always have to put gratuitus sex in his movies? Come on. Oral sex is not OK for a 13 year old so see. At least not mine!

Funny, but on the verge of being R-rated.
THis movie stars Jim Carrey so right off the bat you can see why this movie is PG-13. Funny parts but slightly boring at times. Perverted Sex Scenes, references to sex, STD's, language and some nudity. Still a fun night out with friends!

A Must Miss!
Another example of the film industry misrepresenting the content of their films. This movie is not appropriate for anyone under the age of 16. A senior citizen is shown removing her dentures to perform oral sex and then the camera zooms in on Jimmy Carey's facial expressions as she goes to work on him. The senior citizen picks up another young man later in the movie and the scene is repeated. Crude, unnecessary humor, not appropriate for anyone under 16!

This was a very funny and lighthearted movie. Unfortunatly they felt the need to include one unneccessary crude scene. Without that one scene it would be appropriate for 12 and up. With the scene included, I would not let anyone under 16 see it.

Disappointing!
Not only is the movie only mildly funny; it blew a chance to make a good point--try new things as you attempt to figure what life offers that may be interesting and good for you--espcecially for teens--and instead left its viewers with an unnecessary and crude sexual thought and image.

Surprised at what's PG-13
Based on the commonsense review, I assumed the sex scene was minor. Not so. Took my 13 year son and his friends to it and was very surprised and embarrassed. Is this what we want our kid's first impressions of sex to be? Should have been rated R just for that one scene.

My husband and I walked out before the show was even half over. There were just too many scenes that made me uncomfortable. I am a Jim Carrey fan, but I guess only in a pg way.

Not much bad stuff, but it is PG-13 and contains stuff you wouldn't want your 11 year old to see, but its perfectly fine for 13 and up. So funny! There is a very strange sex scene, though, so be prepared. Also the language is kind of bad, but it's easy to miss it. We love Jim Carrey!

Yes Man isn't that great of a movie but does have some laughs and people who really enjoy Carrey will of liked it more than I did.

For some, falls short, for others, big laugh.
I really like Jim Carrey, and I was expecting something great in what was his first big comedy film in some time. I was pretty disappointed. I can honestly say that my grand total of big laughs came to two. I may have smiled at other parts of the film, but it was a generally un-funny movie. I liked the overall plot of the film (kind of like a mix-mash of Liar Liar), but I feel like it wasn't explored enough. Definitely not Carrey's best. I rented this On Demand (where movies cost five dollars), and sort of regretted buying it. I probably would have been appalled if I had spent twenty dollars in a movie theater to see this.

'Yes Man' was a great movie for teenagers around my age - 14. It was cute and hilarious. Plus, it had a great overall message that was pretty clear... Deffinetely see 'Yes Man'!

I Have No Clue WHY Everyone Is Going Ballistic Over The Oral Sex Scene. Seriously, Everyone Knows What Sex Is By The 4th Grade (Unless You Live a VERY Sheltered Life). And In This One Scene, Nothing Is Visible. Sure, It Made Me Cringe, But This Isn't Like Pornography. Okay, Well, The Movie Was Decent. Not Bad, But Not Great Either. i think this is a great movie! it is very funny. however i do agree not for elementry school kids. middle school yes its ok. a great movie go watch it.
