What Parents Need to Know

About 35 Greatest Hits

Parents need to know that these 35 mega-hits are so familiar to country-music fans that there will be no surprises. As far as lyrics go, songs like "A Woman's Touch" and "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This" manage to be a little sexy without crossing any explicit lines. Others ("Get Drunk and Be Somebody" and "I Love This Bar") are beer-fueled celebrations of small-town nightlife, delivered with a wink, a bad-boy smile, and Toby Keith's ever-present sense of fun. There's also a politically conservative take on world events.

Families Can Talk About

  • Families can talk about "How Do You Like Me Now?," a song that describes a high school loser making it big in the world and coming back to taunt the girl he used to have a crush on. Do you ever have fantasies of future success? Do you think it would be fun to come back and show 'em all?

Only two songs on this album that are inappropriate

This is a great album for all country fans. Only thing is watch out for two songs. "Little Less Talk Lot More Action" and "Stays in Mexico". Both songs (especially Stays in Mexico) involve a man cheating on his wife. If you skip over those two tracks then this is one of TK's best albums ever. Other songs are fun and have positive messages and role models. E.G. "Should've Been a Cowboy" and "American Soldier".

I don't need to take up alot of space to say this CD is a work of art. If you are a Toby Keith fan this is a must have for your collection. All his enormous hits are on this double CD. What a gift! Thank you Toby!!
