I am an American Idol fanatic so I enjoy this, but others may not. The songs are mostly ballads, and if you aren't a fan of the person singing them, you will get bored quickly. There are some highlights, such as Kimberley Locke's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow, which ironically isn't a love song. Nothing offensive.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about what it means to be an idol. Ask your kids what goes into becoming a "superstar" or being "discovered." It's a common fantasy that sometimes needs a reality check. Also, many of the songs are covers of original classics -- this might be a great way for you to introduce your kids to the music you know and love.
