If you believe all the press, two skinny tweens from Brooklyn have taken the U.K. by storm with their fresh-sounding, intense punk rock sound. Tiny Masters of Today are anything but shy as they express their opinions about many aspects of modern life in a collection of songs with lyrics that are clean enough for family listening, while simultaneously political, personal, immature, and world-weary.

Is it any good?

Tiny Masters of Today's chief operatives, Ada and Ivan, bring a "let's-throw-it-all-at-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks" sensibility to their music with very mixed results. Some of the songs burst with visceral energy, driven by strong rhythm tracks that almost always show up the other elements. Sturdy bass and drum work make the guitar sound a little tuneless and noodling by comparison, and the vocals like exactly what they are -- a couple of pre-teens cutting loose and having a terrific time.
