A Child's Celebration of Song 2
Where else can you meet Danny Kaye, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sebastian the Crab in one place?
Common Sense Note
Two- and three-year-olds will enjoy the tuneful arrangements and upbeat tempos, while older children will appreciate the humor and energy of these tracks.
First-rate musicians dazzle grown-ups, too, with rollicking tunes ranging from zydeco to rock & roll to calypso to folk in this wonderful addition to the Child's Celebration series.

Although some of these songs are over fifty years old, this collection sounds remarkably fresh. Where else can you meet Danny Kaye, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Sebastian the Crab in one place?
Despite all this mature talent, kid-favorite Raffi steals the show. Close your eyes and listen to his original composition "Bananaphone," and you'll swear he grasps an ebony cane and wears a Fred Astaire-style top hat and tails: He sounds that sprightly and debonair.
These are songs that just beg for a turn around the dance floor -- perfect for family play.
