COUNTRY SINGS DISNEY reads like a who's who of the country music industry. Everyone from hit makers Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw to the pack-a-punch ladies Martina McBride and Faith Hill have contributed their vocal prowess to perform favorite classic and contemporary hits from some of Disney's top-selling movies. The 15-track collection features songs from Cars, The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, Bambi, The Lion King, and more. And no Disney album would be complete without Miley Cyrus singing the hit duet with her dad Billy Ray, "Ready, Set, Don't Go." Fans of American Idol will even find contributions from favorites Bucky Covington, Phil Stacey, and Josh Gracin.

Is it any good?

What you have here is a very standard "tribute" album with a slight country bend that won't wow anyone. There are a few notables worth mentioning, however, such as Bonnie Raitt singing "Will The Sun Ever Shine Again" from Home on the Range and Little Big Town jamming on the up-tempo "We Go Together" from Fox and the Hound 2. But, if your kids are into Disney and like country, this might be a nice -- but not necessary -- addition to their musical library.
