What Parents Need to Know
About Crazy Hair Day
Parents need to know this CD is based on Barney Saltzberg's children's book of the same name. The book was inspired by a true story of a kid who was reluctant to return to school after losing his hair to chemotherapy; Saltzberg's royalties are donated to a cancer research foundation.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about the fact that sometimes even kids can get very sick. Do you know anyone who has been sick? What made them feel better? Families with older kids can talk about ways people can be there for each other during stressful times, whether it's something as serious as cancer, or simply a "bad hair day."
