What Parents Need to Know
About Dora the Explorer: Party Favorites
Parents need to know that there's very little original music here. Except for a dance-party mix of the Dora the Explorer theme song and a few lyrics in Spanish, this album offers energetic, danceable versions of songs everyone has heard a million times before: "Wheels on the Bus," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," even the "Chicken Dance."

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about all the ways you can make a familiar song sound different. Does adding a rock-and-roll beat and a little Spanish vocabulary to "Wheels on the Bus" make it sound like a new song, for example?
